There are hundreds of beaches in New Jersey because of it’s large coastal area. The beaches makes everything better and it’s good for our mind, body and spirit. Everyone knows a vacation is good for us, but a beach vacation is the best! I am going to tell you about the famous top 10 beaches in New Jersey which will help boost your health and happiness.

MY FAVORITE TOP 10 BEACHES IN NEW JERSEY ARE:)

1. SPRING LAKE BEACH

I have given this beach the 1st position among the top 10 beaches in New Jersey. Spring lake is a town situated in the jersey shore in Monmouth county, New jersey,United states. Spring lake is a small beach resort town where visitors can enjoy the elegance and sophistication of it. Here is the simple pleasure in the form of two miles of sparkling beach, fine dining and deep relaxation. From May 15th to September 30th, No dogs allowed on the beach. Plenty of free parking on Ocean Ave. So overall it is the best beach. You must visit it.

2. POINT PLEASANT

I have given this beach the 2nd position among the top 10 beaches in New Jersey. Point of pleasure is known for its crystal clear waters and numerous attractions. You will find Food stalls, Ice-cream shops and arcade games in nearby Jenkinson’s Aquarium and Jenkinson’s Boardwalk. You can do plenty of activities here for example swimming,sunbathing and surfing.

The beach is lined by tropical palms which enhances its beauty. For refreshing drinks and cocktails on the beach in the bar. Visitors can use the facilities like restrooms and showers and the whole area is monitored by lifeguards. Overall the beach is awesome!

3. LONG BEACH ISLAND

Long beach island is like a paradise for beach lovers. It is a 18-mile-long island with long stretches of white sand. You will find here the family-oriented Fantasy Island Amusement Park too, it is a water park. This beach is home to Thundering Surf Water Park and Adventure Golf.

This beach has also shopping spot, especially there are stores in the tall ships which are reconstructed. Long beach island has two different areas-The North side and the South side. The difference is that the North side has lower density and not much commercially developed whereas the south side has more restaurants,shops and amusement. So this is a great place to visit.

4. CAPE MAY BEACH

Cape May is a city and seaside resort. It is situated at the tip in the south part of New Jersey’s Cape May Peninsula. This beach has friendly environment. It is the cleanest and classiest shore area. This beach has also Dolphins who play just off shore. It is very spacious ,It has plenty of parking space and great sand. The ocean is clean and the most beautiful shade of aqua blue.

At night, the sun sets on the other side of the beach, where you can see the beauty of Dolphins playing in the waves just off shore. It is a relaxing peaceful beach and not so crowded. One interesting thing of this beach is that it has lots of sea shell collecting opportunities. It has lots of great restaurant nearby. You must visit this beach at least once.

5. ASBURY PARK BEACH

A mile-long stretch beach of white sand. It is famous for its popular boardwalks. The beach offers plenty of amusing activities like sunbathing, swimming and fishing. From October to May, You can bring your dogs here, at the other times of the year Eighth Avenue Dog Beach is present to walk your four-legged friends. Pay for parking is cheaper than private parking.

You can use accredit card or debit car for meters. It is a great place to dine, shop, got to the theater, walk in the boardwalk or enjoy the beach and surf. You can enjoy the sun and surf on this neat and clean beach. So if you are going to have fun on this beach this summer then believe me it will be your perfect day to spend the whole day on this beach.

6. KEANSBURG BEACH

I have given this beach the 6th position among the top 10 beaches in New Jersey. It is great and awesome with little Bay shore and incredible view of New York city. It is good place to walk your dog and have a peaceful conversation. Water of this beach is very clean. It is close to New Jersey for a quick trip. It has a great and awesome boardwalk to take your family. Tickets are relatively cheap.

You can take a shower here. Different kinds of birds are also here. These birds enhance the beauty of the beach. It is a very good place for your family especially smaller children because it’s not the ocean slamming into the shore, in fact it’s the calm and peaceful. It’s a small, clean and not so crowded. You will find a good restaurant nearby. Portable restrooms are also there near parking.

7. LONG BRANCH BEACH

Long branch beach is located about one hour from New York and northern New Jersey. It is very beautiful sandy beach for jogging,walking,strolling and enjoying the summer. It has a nice boardwalk with shops, stores, ice creams and restaurants where you can enjoy any type of delicious food. There is plenty of parking space. It’s never too crowded and extremely relaxing. Even though i have put it at 7th position among top 10 beaches in new jersey. It is a fabulous place.

It’s very family and kid friendly. It is very clean and convenient beach having beach resort to feel it. Indian restaurants are also there. There are lifeguards every 100 feet and keeping a close watch on all the people. It is very beautiful especially at night. It has great wind, calming and relaxing waves. Really, it is very nice beach to visit.

8. BELMAR BEACH

It is one of the best beach in New Jersey. I like being here. I have been here many times. It has bars and a gym nearby. It has great and friendly staff with wonderful sand. Such a nice place to relax. It has plenty of parking nearby at a reasonable price. It has great and lovely boardwalk to take nice walks.

It is very peaceful and comfortable. There are also some hotels and motels to stay. There are very clean bathrooms. There are lots of playgrounds on the beach. The sands of the beach are very good and clean. beachfront is just beautiful. The beach is not too crowded. It is a good place to take your family and kids. Beach is very well maintained and family oriented. So, it is a great place to spend with your loved ones.

9. ROCKAWAY BEACH

The boardwalks have been re done here. This is one of the good beaches in New jersey. The waves are very clean and soft. You are allowed to surf here. The sound of crashing waves is awesome to hear.It is great for jogging and strolling. There are shops and restaurant. There is a CVS nearby that sells all your beach,it’s about a 10 minute walking distance.

It is one of the most peaceful, friendliest and relaxing place to go. No matter how crowded the beach is you can always find and feel calmness here. It is a great place to go for fishing. Celebrate summer at the best restaurants and bars in the Rockaways.

There are are amazing playgrounds and water play areas. You can enjoy swimming,sunning,building sand castles and strolling on the boardwalk.If you want to see Dolphin and Whales then a Whale-and Dolphin-watching adventure cruise is also here. So it is a amazing beach.You must come here.

10. ATLANTIC CITY BEACH

Even though i have given this beach the 10th position among the top 10 beaches in New Jersey. It is still a very good beach. It is a mind blowing beach with nice boardwalk. It is one of the best beach in New Jersey to bike ride. It is very wonderful beach having an amusement park.The sand of this beach is very soft and clean. The Atlantic Ocean’s waves are good for body boarding, boogie boarding and wave jumping for kids while adults can enjoy walking along the flat terrain near the water or relaxing in the beach chairs.

The beach is long with restaurants, hotels,bars and casinos. This has a chill, beautiful and relaxing spot to spend time with your family, friends and loved ones. The beach at night looks so wonderful and beautiful. You can find best restaurants nearby where you can enjoy the delicious food. So, if you are planning to go any wonderful time spending and relaxing place then you must visit this place.
